Persistent pain affects up to half the UK adult population and 10- 14% (around 8 million adults) say the pain causes moderate or severe interference with their life.
PROMPPT is a 5 year research programme.
It starts with the Q-PROMPPT study.
Q-PROMPPT will use a range of methods to find out about patients, clinical pharmacists and GPs’ experiences and views.
Over the last 10 weeks we have formed an online research community for people living with persistent pain. Many people have joined our community and shared their views and experiences to help improve care for people living with long-term pain. We would like to say a BIG thank you for your participation. Your posts and comments are valuable and will help our research team to better develop a pain review that is acceptable, meaningful, and helpful to people living with long-term pain.
